Saturday Night

Carlos's Party will be held on the Saturday night, at the Guildford Arms. If we meet in the bar from 19:30 and then move through to the Map Room, for dinner at 20:00.

La gran fiesta sera el Sábado por la noche, en el Guildford Arms. Quedariamos en el bar a las 19:30 y luego nos trasladariamos al Map Room, para cenar a las 20:00.

Thames Clippers

The Thames Clippers are a great way to get into central London. The boats leave every 20 minutes from Greenwich Pier and in 45 minutes you'll be at the London Eye. They stop at various points along the Thames, enabling you to get off, visit the sights and then catch another boat to the next sight, eventually returning to Greenwich.

Si a alguien le apetece visitar el centro de Londres el Sabado

Los ``Thames Clippers´´son una buena manera de llegar al centro de Londres. Los barcos salen cada 20min desde Greenwich Pier y en 45min se llega a London Eye. Hacen paradas en distintos puntos del Tamesis, permitiendo que te bajes a hacer una visita, y luego vuelvas a subirte a otro barco para ir al siguiente punto de interés, volviendo finalmente a Greenwich.

Friday Night

At 20:00 on the 31st, after Carlos's visit to the Observatory, he will go to the Cutty Sark Pub for a drink. Could everybody please be in the pub at about 19:30 ready to give him a big surprise. If people help themselves to drinks at the bar and then move up to the Crow's Nest for some fish and chips. Make sure by 20:00 everybody is upstairs in the Crow's Nest

Come and enjoy an evening of events at the Royal Observatory Greenwich, including a planetarium show about what’s in the sky on the night of your visit (The Sky Tonight), a chance to look through our 18-tonne Victorian telescope and time in the Meridian Courtyard with a hot drink, standing on the Prime Meridian of the world, taking in the amazing view and chatting to astronomers. Note: In the event of adverse weather conditions (rain, cloud, high winds) observing will not be possible.
